copper mountain east village lodging for families

Reviews of Best Copper Mountain East Village Lodging for Families

Unlike nearby Breckenridge ski resort is jam-packed with tourists during the season, Copper Mountain is quieter. Especial, the Lodging at East Village delivers the tranquillity winter vibe, diving you into a snow wonderland.

Copper Mountain offers three distinct villages—East Village, Center Village and West Village. Center Village and West Village are great places to learn to ski and travel with little ones.

East Village is designated intermediate and advanced terrain for difficulty levels. Great for a family with medium or above ability. You won’t worry about a crush on or being crushed by beginners. Little intermediate skiers would enjoy the terrain in East Village as well. East Village is definitely a sweet spot for intermediate and advanced skiers.

Copper Mountain East Village lodging for families provides easy access to gondolas, the Super Bee and a high-speed chairlift. Convenient ski-in, ski-out. Rustic restaurants, stores, and the Tubing Hill in walking distance.

East Village is great for intermate to expert skiers to improve skills. The Super B chairlift is used for Olympic training in November and early December. Sometimes you can see professional athletes training here.

Beginners will feel hard to get around from East Village and take the bus to the beginner slope. If you or your kids are first-time skiers, the suggestion is to go to Center Village or West Village.

Copper Springs at East Village

(View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)

Address: 105 Wheeler Cir, Frisco, CO 80443, United States

Pros: Value for money, cleanliness, great location, room comfort, massage

Cons: Furnishings vary

Review: For the price, this is a perfect quiet corner unit. We had an enjoyable stay. Cooper Springs at Cooper Mountain was fabulous for families. The location can’t be beaten. Walking distance to the chairlift, easy access to ski rentals, activities, and restaurants. You can access Copper Mountain skiing in no time.

The room was huge and spotless, with comfortable beds. As well as the kitchen and bathrooms. We had a great view of the mountain. So that we enjoy the beautiful scenery and quiet moment with morning coffee.

Indoor parking is a plus. I really liked the parking under the building. It made unloading and loading up ski equipment pleasant.

Side Note: Parking a car at the uncovered site overnight is annoying. Because you need to take time to pull all the snow on the car off. Especial clean the car’s front glass to get a clear vision to drive. Equally, parking a vehicle at an indoor site saves time.

However, my friend had a different thought about comfort. She felt the beds were awful. It sunk with two people on it and squeaked with each move. Also, the pillows were terrible, hard as rocks.

For this very incredible different experience, I had contact with the rental agent. I was told the variance is attributable to the primarily each unit is privately owned. Therefore, furnishings vary. I would suggest the Cs210 Copper Springs Condo of my great experience.

The shuttle from East Village to Center Village is right out front, which you will found it convenient.

Village Point 202

Address: 92 Wheeler Cir, Frisco, CO 80443, United States

Pros: Little kids friendly, Ski-in/ski-out access, steps from the ski rental, excellent service, roomy, cleanliness

Cons: A little dated furnishings, no elevator

Review: The condo is in a quiet and perfect location for families within walking distance to rent skis, jump on the Super Bee lift, or hop on the bus to the Center Village.

Everything was just as described, right next to the lift, shopping, ski rentals and restaurant. Truly easy to ski in ski out for intermediate and skilful skiers. A free shuttle can take you to Center and West Village. Or, take a free bus to Breckinridge with one transfer if necessary.

The owner, Susan, provided excellent communication. She returned calls and messages immediately. We had one question for Susan while there, and she responded within minutes! Accessible anytime we needed them.

Although the room has a granny’s house feeling, it has all amenities, cleanliness, and the internet works well. Thermostats in every room are a plus!

Comfortable beds and well-equipped kitchen. Picturesque views from windows create a poem-like ski vacation. Everything was there for our cooking for the family, high chairs for little one, plenty of games and books to keep the kids entertained, and TVs in every room.

This condo provides a fabulous, comfortable family stay.

Elk Run Condo 23

(View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)

Address: 204 Wheeler Pl, Frisco, CO 80443, United States

Pros: Nice for the nuclear family, great location

Cons: Broken amenities need upgrades

Review: This unit has 1 double bed in the master room and 1 sofa bed in the living room. Great for a family of 4 or under enjoying time in Copper.

Perfect location for moderate to advanced skiers. Steps from Super Bee lift, shops, and restaurants. Everything was convenient! I loved that the unit included a garage. We could park our car and store our ski equipment in the garage. The scenery was amazing! Pretty well-stocked kitchen for us to cook our meals.

The unit is a bit aged. Even so, we liked the place, and it was clean. But a few repairs would make it excellent.

The heat did not adjust, and it was sweltering. The bathroom tub seems like it hadn’t been cleaned for a while. The shower doors are not working correctly. It’s hard to close and needs to be adjusted.

All in all, this place would be a lot nicer if things just worked.

Wheeler House

(View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)

Address: 165 Wheeler Pl, Frisco, CO 80443, United States

Pros: Comfortable beds, steps from ski rental, massage, cleanliness

Cons: Inconvenient check-in process, no ski lockers and dishwasher

Review: Located in a convenient spot in East Village, just a few steps from Super Bee lift. The JJs Restaurant, ski rental, and lift ticket window are across the street. Many permanent residents live here. Wheeler House is ideal for those skiing in East Village.

The parking under the building is convenient and saves time in cleaning snow.

The apartment is spacious and well-appointed. Soundproof is not bad because the walls between units are all concrete.

There were a few minor issues in the condo, e.g. burnt-out lightbulbs and doors didn’t slide well. However, the owner was easy to contact and a friendly person. They fixed it in short.

The apartment could make us want to come back more if they do some updates. But overall a nice place to stay.

The Woods

(View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)

Address: Fairway LN, Frisco, CO 80443, United States

Pros: Get your own indoor and outdoor space, cleanliness

Cons: Tissues does not provide

Review: My friend spent her family ski vacation at The Woods 31. It was a fantastic experience. Forst of all, the house was ready. She was surprised the place was super clean and got all the amenities. The kitchen was equipped with everything they needed. So she cooked every day during the vacation.

This is a townhouse! Although there’s no playground, there is plenty of space for kids indoors and to play in the snow outdoors. She built snowmen and played snowball fights with her kids after ski. The fabulous view was a bonus. It was a memorable vacation for them.

While not precisely ski in and ski out, its proximity to the Stinger and Super Bee lifts.

The only thing that proved slightly subpar was that this townhouse doesn’t provide tissues. So my friend had to get some tissues for their stay.

However, it did not impact their good stay negatively.

Foxpine Inn

(View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)

Address: 154 Wheeler Pl, Frisco, CO 80443, United States

Pros: Comfortable, excellent service, roomy, great location, massage

Cons: Property was dated, bathrooms are small

Review: My friend’s family of 6 had a good time here. The property was dated but met all their needs. Friendly and helpful staff provide excellent communication and management. This apartment hotel is located in a perfect spot for a group of people. Ski rental, ticket office, lifts, bar, hot tub, and shuttle to Center Village are all just right out the door. They could ski right up to the door and never had to carry the ski equipment, which is very handy.

My friend and her family were surprised by the number of beds and space for everyone. They never felt crowded, which exceeded their expectations. At the same time, it offered so much privacy! Three separate bathrooms keep everyone happy. Wish the windows were bigger to appreciate the beautiful view of the mountainside.

My friend’s only couple of complaints were that the shower liners that mildew on the bottom 1/3 was gross, and the carpet was a bit dirty and old.

However, it is still an excellent place for a family ski vacation.

Peregrine

(View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)

Address: 85 Wheeler Pl, Frisco, CO 80443, United States

Pros: Very roomy and nice shared spaces, updated kitchen and bathrooms, proximity to the slopes

Cons: No ski locker, the fireplace didn’t work properly

Review: This is a superb property for large families. Great location with lots of space, comfortable, clean, and nicely furnished. The best thing is an easy walk to the lifts, snow park, tubing or easy shuttle to the beginner ski area. It’s a five-minute walk to Super Bee and Stinger lifts or a 3-minute walk to the shuttle to the other villages and lifts.

The property manager was very responsive and friendly. She ensured we had everything we needed on the first night.

The apartment is spacious and is filled with every item a family or large group would need. The condo had an excellent layout for bedrooms, bathrooms, and relaxing areas, with a great view off of the balcony. Two lovely bathrooms downstairs with a tiny bathroom upstairs. The upstairs loft and bedroom were private and very soundproof. Anyone who needed alone time could stay up there.

Moreover, humidifiers in every room are a plus. It’s helpful in the dry air conditions of the high altitude Colorado winter.

The beautiful, wood-burning looks fireplace in the living room was stunning. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and serving meals.

The three negatives were that the gas fireplace didn’t work after two days and the upstairs bathroom with no door. The biggest disappointment is NO ski locker for guests. So we had to bring all the equipment inside, which was annoying for such a large group.
