Best Family West Village Copper Mountain Lodging Reviews

After deciding to gather the family together for the Copper Mountain ski vacation, booking the proper lodging is crucial to making a lifetime of memories on the best ski vacation. Staying at family-friendly accommodation is ideal for being your home base during the holiday.

Copper Mountain has naturally-divided terrain and consists of three villages: West Village, Center Village, and East Village.

East Village is the advanced skiers and riders’ heaven. Center Village is the hub of Copper Mountain, great for beginners, little of everything, bustling in the snow season.

West Village is a beginner’s paradise. West Village and Center Village are both beginner-friendly. However, the family can cruise the uninterrupted green terrain at West Village. Also, a full range of leisure activities during the day and a calm alpine atmosphere at night make West Village the best bet for the family. Here I found some lovely West Village Copper Mountain Lodging for family, convenient and comfortable. The best vacation home to relax after a long day on the slope.

Best Family West Village Copper Mountain Lodging

I’m not often visiting West Village. Therefore, I took a while to get most comments from my friends who frequently stay at West Village for their family ski vacations. Reference to space, convenience, comfort, and child amenities.

Lewis Ranch

(View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)

Address: 962 Tricia’s Trail, Frisco, CO 80443, United States

Pros: Amazing location, space for ski equipment, spacious, clean, excellent service

Cons: Away from restaurants, the unit is a bit dated

Review: Massive and lovely home in a beautiful and convenient location, everything it says is. The house was in a perfect spot and right next to the ski lifts. You can walk right out to the trail and either ski down to the east village or get on the beginner lift right by the house. Great for the little one.

Excellent distance from the Copper Center gives a tranquil vibe.

Everything was clean when my friend got there. It showed some wear and tear, but beautiful and well-maintained spaces are not the wrong place. The accommodation is perfect for families or a big group. Very spacious and had plenty of room to spread out, play, and relax, for my friend’s family of 10, including 6 kids.

Bring your own spices, foil, or wrap if you plan to cook there. There wasn’t anything available.

The hot tub and the steam room in the main suite were an added bonus. As well as hanging out on the deck looking out on the trail.

People at guest services were amiable and responsive to any requests. My friend had a few problems with the house. They show up and fix it within minutes.

Definitely no 1 lodging at West Lodging, no complaints. My friend recommends it very much.

Telemark

(View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)

Address: 45 Beeler Pl, Frisco, CO 80443, United States

Pros: Reasonably priced, lovely scenery

Cons: No washer and dryer, outdated

Review: Telemark is a lovely building in Copper Mountain, built-in 1984. It is just past the Beeler parking lot in the West Village. For sure not as close as other lodgings in the immediate base area. Telemark is outside the main base area on the other side of the access road. Although it shows 0.3 km to American Flyer on the map, my friend took about 9 minutes with the kids to the lift and 5 minutes to Center Village. The good thing is bus stops for East Village right outside the front door of Telemark, which is convenient.

The room was basic but spotless and quiet. Psych yourself up for sleep in the living room on a murphy bed. It was not as comfortable as a regular one, but still okay. Fully stocked kitchen. The mountain view was fantastic. The indoor hot tub is nice after a day on the slopes.

It was nice to have garage parking and made taking things up to our condo way easier.

A couple of complaints. The building was older than other newly lodgings. Not always have staff at the front desk. As I just mentioned, the beds are a little uncomfortable, but you get what you pay for.

This is an affordable option for a family ski vacation.

The Cache in West Village

(View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)

Address: 12 Union Creek Trail, Frisco, CO 80443, United States

Pros: Spacious, convenient, great location, good service, quiet

Cons: No elevator, clean concern

Review: The place has been my friend’s second stay at West Village. It’s cosy, elegant and convenient, a short walk to the ski lifts and close to ski school in West Village. The distance was actually easy to access than looking at the map.

Easy walk to Center Village. Also, you can call the free shuttle service to pick you up from the lodging and take you to wherever you want to go in Copper Mountain.

Great space inside to spread out. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals for the family. Not to mention having meals with a gorgeous mountain view.

There’s one issue. My friend’s first stay was a dirty internal kettle, and the other time was an oily pan. The kitchenware is not clean at all. If it can keep things clean, my friend would love to recommend it to others. Also, wish there was an elevator. Moving all family luggage to the third floor was a pain.

Overall, it’s still a lovely place for the family if it updates cleanliness.

Union Creek Lodge Copper Mountain

(View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)

Address: 35 Union Creek Trail, Frisco, CO 80443, United States

Pros: Space for ski equipment, good service, great location for all ages

Cons: Uncomfortable beds, unacceptable cleanliness

Review: Union Creek Townhome is a beautiful and luxurious vacation home in an incredible place, with everything you need. Proximity to the ski lift for all ski abilities and skiing with kids (especially with kids in ski school) with ski-in and ski-out. Easy walking access to Center Village.

Loved the heated garage for ski storage and parking the cars.

The house is well-appointed, comfortable, and spacious. Great kitchen, eating area and fireplace for everyone to gather with picturesque views. The kitchen was well stocked with dinnerware and cookware. Plenty of private spaces easily accommodate a family or large group. Had great use of the hot tub. It’s clean and has a nice touch. It also provides puzzles and games that you can play with kids. The perfect way to end up the day with family.

The check-in and check-out process was quick and easy. You don’t have to go to a location to pick up the key. Instead, provide the code to get in remotely, and you can go straight to the house.

Perfect in every sense. It can’t beat the fantastic location for skiing with kids.

Only two complaints were the mattresses were uncomfortable and the lodging bit dirty. The heated beds were nice and warm, but I personally feel not comfortable. Mainly cleanliness issue was the copious amount of dust in the house. Overall with these improvements, it would be an outstanding property.

Cirque

(View on Booking.com or Agoda.com)

Address: The Cirque, 0172 Beeler Pl, Frisco, CO 80443, United States

Pros: Reasonably priced, roomy

Cons: Not a great location to access lifts, room needs update

Review: Located just a five-minute walk to Center Village. But it’s a bit far from lifts either at West Village or Center Village. The units are dated but spacious and drafty. I like the underground heated parking. It saves our time and makes comfort.

Great heated outdoor swimming pool and hot tub. We jumped into the hot tub with cold drinks and kids after a great day of skiing. Nothing better than that.

Nothing special. But the price with all you need for a family ski trip, it’s okay.

Copper Sports West Village: Convenient Ski Rental

Some people will bring their own ski equipment, the others will look for a ski rental at West Village.

Copper Sports at convenient slope-side at West Village provide quality equipment and good rental service with free expert advice by certified snowsport instructors.

Great ski equipment, but the prices are unfriendly. They offer ski packages that include skis, ski boots and poles, and snowboard packages have boots and snowboard. If kids go to the ski school, they must wear ski helmets by rule. However, the ski helmet is not included. You need to pay an extra fee to rent one. Also, they don’t offer ski goggle rental. You need to prepare on your own, which makes it inconvenient. But the location and service can’t beat professional, fast, and easy access.

West Village Café Copper Mountain

One cafe with a few food options is called West Village Day Lodge at West Village. The food is a little more pricey than usual. But on the mountain, it may be the economical eating place.

Kids ski school is here. Plenty of convenient spots to watch kids during lessons and wait for the family who is still on the slopes.

Address: 338 Beeler Pl, Frisco, CO 80443, United States
