Gravitee Boardshop, one of the few local board shops, is charming and knowledgeable. After explaining the problem, they fix it in 5 minutes without charging me. The Christy Sports at Copper Mountain is located in the East Village at the base of the Super Bee Lift, and their service is efficient. You can get your ski gear and hit the slope ASAP.
My friend was trying different demo skis at Christy Sports Copper Mountain. He found the staff very knowledgeable and appreciated the time. They explained the pros and cons of other skis and worked with him until he found the perfect skis. Also, they were fitting boots for his 3 kids simultaneously. The equipment was all good as well. Charter Sport at Copper Mountain, within the lobby of Element 29 Hotel, offers rentals for skis, snowboards, and related equipment. The staff are helpful and efficient, excellent service and price. We showed up in the morning, three families were in front of us, and it only took us about 30 minutes to wait. I really appreciate that.
The location is conveniently in Center Village. So that you can easily access the lifts.

Rebel Sports has been a family own ski rental for over 25 years. They are professional, efficient, and courteous even on a busy holiday weekend. Plus, their location is 100 yards from the American Eagle chairlift in the heart of Center Village. My friend was in and out in 10 minutes and quickly hit the slope. And the return process was just as quick.

We need to decide which area we want to stay in first when thinking of accommodation in Copper Mountain. The three base areas at Copper Mountain for skiing and snowboarding are East Village, Center Village (the Village at Copper) and West Village (formerly Union Creek).
The lodge and condo at Center Village will be excellent for family and beginner ski-in and ski-out. It’s easy to access all terrain levels and is close to slopes. You can have lunch or dinner at East Village because it’s always cheaper and less crowded.

However, East Village is not kids-friendly. The Super Bee Lift requires you to ski down a challenging blue run for the kids to catch the next lift to the top to access the green runs, or you will need to take a shuttle to West Village. East Village will suit older kids or intermate skiers.
