Maruyama Park is a famous park for days out with kids. It covers a wild area, including a public square, public sports area, and recreational canal. Mainly it displays pleasant scenery in the cherry blossom bloom. (Read more)

Moerenuma Park covers an area of 188.8 hectares, designed by the world-famous sculptor Isamu Noguchi. There are about 1800 cherry trees in the “forest of cherry trees” zone with 7 Noguchi sculptures. Asahiyama Park is the no.11 best spot for viewing cherry blossoms in Hokkaido. There are around 3500 cherry trees planted in the park. And a beautiful forest surrounding the cherry trees, which create a comfortable natural environment. (Read more)

This article is mainly about my experience, and this list is the top 5 spots I feel comfortable and convenient to visit with kids.
For me, the top spot to view cherry blooms is Moerenuma Park. And my husband’s No.1 is Asahiyama Park. Both cherry blossom views are gorgeous. The difference between the two is Moerenuma Park is permeated with a rich artistic atmosphere which I like. And Asahiyama Park is glutted with a pronounced natural atmosphere.
