Hakodate Ramen Kamome is located in front of Hakodate Asaichi. It’s easy to walk past with a humble outlook. For locals, it’s one of the best seafood shio ramen shops in Hakodate. Fresh seafood and tasty ramen are at an affordable price. Nowadays, it is getting famous by word of mouth.
About Kamome
The famous ramen in Kamome is the Shio ramen which is a salt-based broth noodle soup. The chef uses pork bone and chicken bone to make the flavorful clear soup. As a basic shio ramen, it is topped with chasu (braised sliced pork belly), seaweed, and menma (preserve bamboo shoots with a salty flavor). I recommend seafood lovers the seafood ramen topped with seafood such as scallops, crabs, and squid. The seafood is fresh and the price valuable.
Ramen Kamome is a chef’s table in a tiny restaurant. Thus, traveling families need to consider if it’s too overcrowded for you.

Conclusion
The Hakodate Morning Market food court is on the opposite of the road. In my experience, we order ramen from Kamome and take it away. And order some food from the Hakodate Morning Market food court. Then find a table at the food court to have our meals. Especially if kids are with you, the seat in the food court is much more comfortable.
