From here, you can overlook the sea of Japan. Many ants on the ground, you may need insect repellent. The sunset was beautiful.

Conclusion
My favourite spots to BBQ and camping within Sapporo and Otaru are Domin No Mori Ichibangawa-Chiku (道民の森一番川地区キャンプ場), Kitahiroshima Recreation Forest (北広島市レクリエーションの森), and Otaru Shizennomura (おたる自然の村).
Domin No Mori Ichibangawa-Chiku and Otaru Shizennomura have many pieces of equipment for kids. And if I want to go fishing or play on the river with kids, Kitahiroshima Recreation Forest will be my choice.
