◎ Auto Resort Yakumo
オートリゾート八雲（噴火湾パノラマパーク）
My No.1 BBQ area in Hokkaido. There are two decks where you can observe the picturesque ocean view. If you feel cold, you can swarm up yourself at the indoor fireplace. Also, there’re Japanese tradition bathtubs called Goemonburu (ごえもんぶろ, 五右衛門風呂). I think it’s a really cool and special experience to try it. The atmosphere here is cozy and relaxing.

Conclusion
My favorite camping places within Toya and Hakodate are Green Stay Lake Toya Auto Campsite (グリーンステイ洞爺湖), Shiroishi Koen Hakodate Auto Camping Ground (白石公園 はこだてオートキャンプ場), and Auto Resort Yakumo (オートリゾート八雲, 噴火湾パノラマパーク).
You can enjoy the beautiful sunrise and sunset by the lakeside at Toya and Hakodate are Green Stay Lake Toya Auto Campsite. Shiroishi Koen Hakodate Auto Camping Ground provides activities for both adults and kids.
Auto Resort Yakumo. It’s located at Yakumo, middle of the way to either Sapporo or Hakodate. Although there’s no playground for children, it’s a great opportunity to let kids walk into nature and enjoy the sounds of nature. All the facilities are great, maintained, and convenient. I feel comfortable here. Oh, don’t forget to try the deep-fried chicken from next door – Harvest Yakumo. The chicken is bred in Yakumo, really tasty and juicy.
