My favourite campgrounds in this area are Okkaidoritsu Tokachi Ecology Park (北海道立十勝エコロジーパーク), Kamuikotan Park Camping Ground (カムイコタン公園キャンプ場), and Moiwayama Natural Park Camping Ground (豊頃町茂岩山自然公園).
Okkaidoritsu Tokachi Ecology Park is a popular place for locals to play water with kids, and the trampoline-like Fuwafuwa Dome is great for kids.
